01 / Context
The work in context.
Silver Showers Senior Care provides in-home, non-medical hygiene assistance. The website brings its services, local coverage, and care inquiry path together for seniors and family caregivers.
02 / Challenge
The problem to solve.
Visitors needed to understand what kind of help was offered, whether the service reached their area, and how to start a conversation about care.
03 / Approach
How I approached it.
- Describe services in plain language and explain the non-medical scope of care.
- Give bathing and grooming assistance and family caregiver training distinct service descriptions.
- Make Northern Michigan coverage visible and provide a direct route from information to inquiry.
04 / Implementation
What I delivered.
- Created dedicated Home, Services, About, and Contact pages in WordPress.
- Structured the inquiry form to collect location, assistance needs, care frequency, and contact preference.
- Included business background and care philosophy to give families context before reaching out.
The page structure is shown as a simple map; it is not a technical system architecture.
05 / Constraints & tradeoffs
What shaped the work.
- The service is non-medical; the website needs to describe its scope clearly without presenting it as clinical care.
- Families need to assess service fit and geographic coverage before submitting an inquiry.

07 / Reflection
What I take forward.
For a personal service, the first useful step is often helping a visitor understand the offer and its fit before asking them to get in touch.
